BRYN DU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
In February and March 2022, I received the opportunity to focus on my work in Granville Ohio through the Bryn Du Artist in Residence Program. While I was there, I had the opportunity to speak with the community, host a watercolor class, and present a solo exhibition with my new work. I am very grateful to Bruce, Athena and Angela for their support during the residency as well as the community of Granville and the Ohio Arts Council for funding the residency.
To Build a Better Wing
To Build A Better Wing is rethinking the final steps of an insect or a living plant, though what was living might be gone, they remain in a changed form to be utilized by other life forms.
FILM PHOTOGRAPHY
These are a collection of film photographs I took while on the grounds of the Bryn Du Estate.
I often take multiple exposures on top of one another to layer the images. This creates different shapes and color combinations.
